Mentorship and Engagement
Mentorship Program!
We believe that mentorship is vital to employee success, and investing in our people is what we do. We have a formalized mentorship program, the basic details of which are outlined below.
The goals of this program are to enhance employee skill level and help individuals to set and reach professional goals through early goal identification, enhance workplace connectedness and office culture, provide our patients with the best care possible through continuous quality improvement, and to develop specialty care areas to provide our communities access to care that will alleviate their need to travel out of area.
Each new hire is assigned a mentor per care environment that they work in. The mentorship period will continue up to two years, with regular one on one meetings between mentor and mentee. In addition, owners will meet with the mentor and mentees quarterly to ensure the effectiveness of the program for the individual. Specific goals, objectives, and action points will be reviewed at each meeting to ensure that each mentee is advancing according to their own individual aspirations.
Employee Engagement!
We have a formalized employee engagement program, that allows employees to get to know each other inside and outside of work in a way that is comfortable to participants. Maple City Physical Therapy holds quarterly events and teambuilding activities to help contribute to positive workplace culture. These activities are so important to us that employees are given time in return, away from work, for their investment. Some examples include blowing glass pumpkins at the Corning Museum of Glass, working together on a holiday themed craft, attending a Cleveland Guardians game, or participating in a wine tour on the Finger Lakes. In addition, employees that are interested may participate in larger activities such as travelling to New York City, Daytona Beach, Washington D.C., or other locations the team is interested in visiting!
We would love to hear from you. Send us an email, and attach your resume!
